It would also be convenient to call up different individual modules using customizable global hotkeys, so that in this mode the modules open on top of all other windows.

(+1)

A mode where the waveform stays still while a vertical line moves across it.An option to synchronize the movement of the line to the BPM — similar to what’s implemented here: https://www.kvraudio.com/product/psyscope-by-fx23. This kind of visualization would make signal analysis and sound work much easier. Thank you in advance!

Hey! Thats a great suggestion and I have some time code based improvements coming, but not this specific request. Psyscope may be a better fit for what you need.

What's up? Please make hotkeys. It is inconvenient to switch audio device from PC to Ripper. I am even ready to pay again, I guess (ノ´ヮ`)ノ*: ・゚

Hi there, nice plugin and enjoying using it, however the CPU usage is particularly heavy - 41% on my MacStudio M1Max. I've just updated to the latest version too and still seems to be very high. Any tips?

(+2)

Hey! As of 0.8.25, this seems about right. The v1.0 update will bring a new graphics backend using Metal rather than OpenGL which may reduce the CPU/GPU usage a bit.

However, keep in mind that on macOS 41% is a bit misleading. On a Mac Studio with 10 cores it's 41% / 1000%. I see a similar amount of usage on my development Mac (a MacBook Pro M1 Max). In addition I've noted that MiniMeters sometimes gets put on efficiency cores. You will see a higher percentage on those cores as well since they are less powerful.

Hi ,, many thanks for the development of this plugin ,, im a user with a visual disability ,, i find this app excellent to help me with visualising audio ,, the choice of colours and the ability to change the colour spectrums and ability to change the module order is also excellent,, may i ask two questions,, is there any way or plans to allow modules to stack as columns instead of or in addition to rows ,, also with regard to the spectrum module could the frequency readout while in the static mode be made to include maximum range resolution ,, ie. so there would be unused zeros (0) for the hz also referred to as 20,000 count similar to a multimeter does and leave a space where the # goes sometimes ,,, this would stop the left to right jitter that occurs on static placement,,  also if there was an ability to make all that frequency readout bigger would be great too,, this app is very versatile and accessible friendly ,, 11/10 !

Hey!

At the moment I am working on figuring out what the best way to handle alternative layouts is, but that is planned. The leading zeros is a great idea I will look into that.

The best thing since sliced bread!

very awesome, although its hard to determine if i spend more time using this to produce music or just looking at the pretty colors

yo i bought this but it put a 3 day hold on my card bruh! i swear if i dont get it in the next three days! (clenches fist in rage)(buttocks clenched and visionally angry)

Hey! I responded to the email you sent! Please let me know if the hold doesn't clear. I don't have control over the payment processing as itch.io handles that, but I am sure we can figure something out.

Joe

tahank you i actually got the money back and then just got it again so no problemo here thank you tho son

it would be really nice to have auto gain where it caps the volume at 0db or any adjustable volume so i don't have to configure each output device's routing again

I have paid and downloaded the app. I don't seem to have the plugin in my mac files. How do i get the plugin and open it in FL studio?

Hey! Both the demo and the full version include the MiniMetersServer Plug-In. The VST3 and AU get installed to their respective folders in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins. So first double check they are in there. If they are not, try reinstalling. I just checked here and the latest installer does place them there.

In FL Studio, try to go to the Options menu > Manage plugins. Make sure that those folders are listed in the Plugin search paths, then rescan to see if MiniMetersServer shows up.

Let me know if you need more help,
Joe

I HAVE PAID AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PROGRAM. I AM ONLY USING IT IN DEMO. IN ANY CASE, RETURN MY MONEY. I AM FROM PERU.

Hey! Could you please send me an email at support@minimeters.app with the email you used to purchase? I will look up the order for you.

Hello is there a way to save current arrangement of the modules? Can they be turned into one window after rearrangement?

Hey! There is no way to convert it to a single window, but popped out modules should restore their position at launch automatically. If you run into issues there make sure to unselect "Reposition Offscreen Windows" in the Settings in MiniMeters.

Thank you for the reply.  When the app gets closed some windows get thrown into a different monitor screen.
It would be great if you got implanted the option of summing the up and have the option to go full screen on Mac for various reasons.

I appreciate that suggestion, but I don't have any plans to implement that. I will look into why the positions get reset.

Hey there! Great app! Is there a way to change the order of the modules? If not, could you please add it? Would be a really cool feature!

Hey! Once you open the Settings page, click the left and right arrows on each module.

Thank you this is very cool! I have twin screens, I'd like to be able to pin it to the right screen, so that my Logic window isn't disrupted on the left Is there a way to do this?

If you move MiniMeters to the right screen and click "Default Position" in the top toolbar MiniMeters should keep that position for the next launch.

This plugin rules. Would be great to have a couple presets for view, at least two... minimal state and then a maximal state. So you could keep it in your top right corner and then click a button to see a full screen.

Might be too complex for the minimalistic goals! Just wanted to drop it in case you were thinking of upgrades.

Hello! Thank you for an amazing plugin. Would be great to see a simple phase bar (possibly near the peak/LUFS meter) added!

(+1)

yes, that'd be awesome

Hi everyone! I´m having trouble downloading my purchase, I´ve already tried the alternative download option and in differents devices and the download won´t start, can anyone help me?

Thanks.

Hey taimer,

You're the 4th person to mention this to me this month. I am not 100% sure why this is happening for some people. I had one user say they could not download from their phone or PC, but when they used a VPN it worked. Others said that their phone worked, but nothing else did.

I am reaching out to itch.io support regarding this and will respond here when I get word back.

Joe

Hi Joe! Thanks for your answer, I look forward news haha

Hello! I've been stuck with this problem and I just found a solution.

Find the executable file then right click and go to the properties, you will see a "Security" under the "General" tab, just check the "Unblock" checkbox and hit apply and you're good to go.

I cant live without it!
. Any Chance to a Classic VU meter with reference level implementation?

(+2)

Hey! I have a VU Meter coming in v1.0 :)

(+1)

Great, I currently have to run a separate VU Meter App.

That’s very cool! Going to implement multiple scales to also include UK & US PPM as well as RMS, with their different ballistics?

(+1)

The VU Meter is going to be the VU spec only. I am adding RMS to the loudness meter.

Superb, no complaints here :)

AWWWW You are Awesome! Cant Wait

Is anyone running MiniMeters on a second small display? I'm looking for a dedicated one, preferably with USB-C.
