After a long development period I am pleased to announce that MiniMeters v1.0 is releasing Aug 1, 2025! 🎉🎉🎉

A full list of changes will be provided upon release, but to give you a quick overview here are the highlights:

• New Layout Mode: Quad
• New Meter: VU
• Audio Clipping: Record the last 10 or 60 seconds of audio MiniMeters receives and drag directly into your DAW.
• Audio Recording: Start a recording at any point and save as much audio as you'd like.
• VST3, Audio Unit, and CLAP plug-ins of every meter, and a plug-in with the new Quad layout.
• Presets: Save and load your layouts and settings.
• Color Maps: In addition to themes, MiniMeters now includes Color Maps available for use in the Spectrum, Spectrogram, and, optionally, Waveform modules.
• Transparent Window Backgrounds: Supported on Windows, macOS, and Linux (when using Wayland).

Pricing

If you already own MiniMeters, v1.0 is a free update. As always, I aim to keep MiniMeters affordable and accessible, however upon release of v1.0 MiniMeters will increase its price to $20 USD.

Will MiniMeters continue to get updates after v1.0?

Yes. MiniMeters has been an incredible passion project and has been a blast to work on. MiniMeters will continue to get updates and improvements after v1.0's release. 

While I have had private testers who have helped me discover the majority of problems I'm sure there will issues found on day 1 that were missed. If you have any issues please reach out in the Discord and let me know. Part of the work throughout the last couple years has been improving my workflow for testing and building for each platform to facilitate quickly fixing issues that arise.
